PA Furbearer Presentation The Furbearer/Trapping Presentation will introduce you to the 13 furbearers in Pennsylvania. You will learn why these animals are classified as furbearers by The Pa. Game Commission as well as the benefits and detriments. An explanation will be given as to why the populations of furbearers needs to managed. Hunting and trapping methods will be discussed. Tanned furs of each furbearer will be available at the presentation for educational purposes only. The presentation is sponsored by The Pa. Trappers Association. The presenter is Greg Grimm from Indian Head, Pa. Greg is 60 years old and has been an avid outdoorsman most of his life. He has been teaching Hunter Trapper Education Courses for the Pa. Game Commission for 15 years and is the Secretary for The Pa. Trappers Association. Greg has been permitted as a Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator.
