| On a 2-hour delay, we will begin the meet at 11:00. If school is canceled Speech Meet will be held on the next school day. Hello Parents! It is time for our annual Speech Meet. We will hold it in the multipurpose room at south campus on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 and begin at 9 A.M. We would love to have you join us for this event! If you would like to attend, please notify your child’s teacher or email elementarystaff@champion.org before the day of the event. Kindergarten will perform together as a group. Tips: The entire piece must be recited from memory. Students will introduce their selection by stating the title and author. They must not say their name. If they have a Bible verse or a fable or folklore they must explain what it means to them in their own words. Encourage him/her to use eye contact, smile, and speak clearly, slowly, and audibly. Please make sure your child is wearing his/her Sunday best! We cannot wait to hear the students do their pieces! |
